Charlottesville Waldorf School
-Charlottesville,VA
While a new Language and Arts building was under construction at the Charlottesville Waldorf School, Aqua Nova designed a Rainwater collection system to re-use rainwater from the extensive roof area. The system employs vortex filters to capture the cleanest water for storage in buried concrete tanks. The collected rainwater is used for landscape irrigation and is set up to be re-used for toilet flushing.
Aqua Nova provided design, construction management, installation assistance and commissioning. The system was commissioned June 2011.
