Devils Backbone Brewing Co. – Distillery & Brewery

The Devils Backbone Basecamp location features a Microbrewery and a recently added Distillery which produce high-strength wastewater from cleaning and rinsing and other waste materials. Aqua Nova designed a system to treat up to 1000 gpd of Microbrewery and Distillery process waste onsite. The system features a small-scale custom membrane bioreactor (MBR) with two pre-aeration treatment stages. The innovative design made use of existing tankage that was repurposed after the upgrade of another treatment system at the site.

Aqua Nova provided detailed engineering, procurement assistant, construction oversight, and commissioning.
